Tammy Toney-Butler, RN, CEN, TCRN, CPEN-Forensic Examiner (SANE) is a subject matter expert and anti-human trafficking consultant. Tammy was a nurse in the emergency department for nearly thirty years before pursuing her passion as an advocate for marginalized, invisible populations and survivor reform. Mrs. Butler is working to end the supply of vulnerable individuals preyed upon by traffickers and abolish modern-day slavery. Tammy is a national and international speaker on human trafficking and trauma-informed, trauma-responsive care.
